Kiwanis Club of Brampton

The Kiwanis Club of Brampton was chartered in June 1957 and has graciously partnered with the United Achievers’ to offer scholarships to students within Peel Region. Like the United Achievers’, the Kiwanians recognize the value of providing positive support to our youth.  To date, the Kiwanis Club has donated $89,000 to the Scholarship Fund.

The Kiwanis Club is an international organization, which was founded in 1915 and has since grown to approximately 9,000 clubs in more than 80 countries around the world. Almost 750,000 Kiwanians are helping to improve the lives of people on every continent from Canada to Colombia, from Austria to Australia, from Tunisia to the Republic of China.

​

Kiwanis offers an opportunity for personal involvement in the leadership and improvement of the community, the nation and the world. Kiwanians are engaged in education, banking, marketing, agriculture, international trade, non-profit organizations and many other sectors.

They are corporate officers, managers, small-business owners and self-employed professionals. They are young individuals embarking on careers, successful executives and active retirees.

Congress of Black Women of Canada (Brampton Chapter) 

The Congress of Black Women of Canada partners with the United Achievers’ Club in hosting the Caribbean Pavilion at CARABRAM and the annual Black History Month Concert.

Malton Black Development Association

The Malton Black Development Association partners with the United Achievers’ Club in hosting the Annual Golf Tournament.

​

Peel Regional Police

The Peel Regional Police’s partnership with the United Achievers’ started with its support of the Club’s launch of its Mentoring Program and currently with its sponsorship of an annual scholarship.

​

William Osler Health System Foundation (WOHSF)

William Osler Health System Foundation partners with the Club in its annual Celebrity Chef – Men Who Cook event.
